Presentation
I graduated from the Agronomy Faculty at the Republic University, Uruguay, and got an MSc. at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, as well as a PhD. at the Wageningen Agricultural University. The main research areas have been the nutrition of high-producing dairy cows under grazing, the use of by-products in the ration of grazing dairy cows, and dairy production system analysis. During the last 10 years, the major focus has been on the competitiveness and sustainability of the Uruguayan dairy production system.
