Presentation

I am a researcher at the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO) with more than 20 years of international experience across Europe, North Africa and the Western Balkans. My work focuses on systems thinking, participatory modelling, governance, food systems, the circular bioeconomy and sustainability transitions. I use tools such as causal loop diagrams, value network analysis and stakeholder co-creation to understand complex socio-ecological systems, identify systemic lock-ins and leverage points, and support evidence-based policy and innovation. I coordinate and contribute to several Horizon Europe projects and am passionate about translating systems thinking into practical solutions for real-world challenges.

What I can bring to this network ?

I bring extensive experience in applying systems thinking to complex sustainability challenges through participatory research, facilitation and interdisciplinary collaboration. I can contribute practical methodologies for causal loop diagramming, stakeholder engagement, living labs, policy analysis and systems mapping, while fostering collaboration between researchers, practitioners and decision-makers across sectors and countries.

What I seek in this network ?

I am looking to exchange knowledge with fellow systems thinkers, learn new methodologies and applications, develop collaborations across disciplines, and contribute to advancing systems thinking as a practical approach for addressing global sustainability and governance challenges.
