Analyse

System analysis allows an understanding of the characteristics, dynamics, and interconnectedness of different components and actors in a given system or system level, as well as their role in the overall system’s performance. It also relates to the interrelations amongst system components or levels and external (and internal) drivers of change. In most cases in FLWA this analysis also integrates the diversity of systems types in a given area (e.g. farm typology in a landscape). Systems analysis can be quantitative and qualitative and can be used for ex-post and ex-ante studies. Systems analysis investigates how current systems function and how they are likely to behave in response to relevant scenarios of change.
