Her PhD, “Growing agroecology in Nicaragua : Towards a multi-scale perspective on agroecological transitions” is from Wageningen University (Netherlands). She has a Master’s degree in “Environmental Protection and Agricultural Food Production” from the University of Hohenheim (Germany). She is a scaling and sustainability transitions scientist in the Sustainable Agrifood Systems department of the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT/Mexico) and a board member of the Sustainability Transitions Research Network (STRN).
